Summary: This is actually a really fun party game to play with none gamers and kids. I got this to play with my wife because she isn't really into any video games, and she loves the mini games, and different modes. Very easy to pick up and play, plus since this one came with a Wii mote plus it was a great deal!
Summary: I overall enjoyed Wii Party U. It is a colorful game and full of variety. I would recommend it for light-hearted affairs, but not for competitive gamers; It incorporates many luck based mechanics that bias against better players.
Warning: get some friends or you'll be bored alone

Summary: Wii Party U is a fun game but to unlock it's full potential, Your gonna need some friends. So if your the person who has no friends (Like me) then this game will be kinda boring and you wouldn't even be able to do certain stuff the game has to offer alone. When there is people to play with however, the game is very fun.
Wii Party U - Definitely worth the price of admission.

Summary: Nintendo video games are magical in the way they get people to interact. Walk into a room full of people playing Madden and you'll see two people playing the game and talking trash at each other, while the rest of the people in the room look disinterested and try to find something else to do while they wait their turn. Walk into a room of people playing Wii Party U and you'll see something very different...
Summary: This is not a game for 1 person. Even with 2 it is kind of boring. But with 3 or more, it is a ton of fun. Not as good as the Mario Party games back on N64, but this is the type of game I've been waiting for. Great mini games. Lots of different modes.
