Summary: I never saw the series and I am not that interested in it but as I played a bit of the first game and I love to shoot Zombies I decided to give it a go. My conclusion is that the previous game was a little bit more interesting but we have a solid game here for sure! Total reccommendation!!!
Summary: I did played the PS3 version of this game, but i gotta say, i actually like this version better. The game looks exactly like the other version but the gameplay obviously changed. If you like The Walking Dead and the Wii U, i highly recommend getting this game. It is really fun to me.
Summary: Honestly, I came into this game with very low expectations based on the reviews. it is a different take on a FPS, almost like a mix of Left 4 Dead and Oregon Trail. It is a good background story on the Dixon boys. Non-fans of the show might be slightly lost but honestly why would you be playing if you didn't like the show. The fact that they can swear in this makes it realistic too.
Summary: The Walking Dead is a successful comic that has since been adapted to AMC's hit TV show of the same name. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct focuses on a character who is exclusive to the TV show called Daryl Dixon and is currently a fan favourite. Daryl Dixon started out as a racist redneck who only cared for his own survival, since the second and third series of the TV show, the character has changed a lot and has attracted a large number of fans.
Summary: It's a real shame this game was made the way it was, an utter cash in with the only redeeming features because the amazing voice acting by Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker. Graphics are a complete let down with rooms being full of nothing more than one chair and a table half the time, if this wasn't a Walking Dead game it wouldn't be worth a second glance.
Summary: The Kings of Cash-In have done it again. I seriously believe that this is what Activision has been reduced to: making bad games to cash in on licenses. This newest FPS cash in is very short so I will make this review short and spoiler free in regard. Walking Dead: Survival Instinct doesn't deserve $50 nor does it deserve $10. Survival Instinct is a complete disrespect to the license and its fans.
Summary: To start I am a huge fan of the show and only picked this game up for the story. Knowing this I had low expectations for the gameplay and graphics. I was pleasantly surprised to find the graphics to be better than I expected. It is more cartoony than realistic but not as bad as some people make them out to be. The game play is nicely rounded out. It is a mix of stealth and action. You can take the zombies head on are sneak up behind them and use a finish on them.
Summary: I checked a few of the 10/10 reviews and they were first time reviews, on only this game. They seem like mark bots. So either fans talking up the franchise or company employees or trolls. Either way, don't believe it. I'd buy this game for $15 max and that is because I'm a chump for zombie games. Terrible graphics, stupidest a.i. I have seen in years and bad plot. Shame on an otherwise decent series. It is an obvious money grab with no effort put in.
Summary: A mediocre game at best. Mundane and boring combat, awful textures and terrible jump-scares. This is a classic example of a rushed game trying to make as much money off a successful franchise as possible. The voice acting is rather bad and unrealistic and it's also rather bad. However, that's not to say there isn't SOME good parts to this game, for example the whole survivor system where you can send them out to look for supplies is a rather good idea.
