Summary: This game had a good amount of backlash attached to it, and for reasons I'll never know. Here's my take on this Wii U exclusive. Graphics- With the ongoing war of "60 fps/1080p" between Xbox One and PS4, we now insert a game that excels in graphics. I'd expect nothing less from Sega, but this game really looks good.
Summary: This is a pretty good sonic game. I don't like the maps where you run upwards that much and some of it gets clunky and frustrating but overall its much better than many sonic games in recent memory.
Excerpt: I grew up as a "Nintendo" kid. Sp, I really didn't have much experience with "Sonic". I now own Sonic All-Star Racing and the Newest addition "Sonic: Lost World". Lost World is extremely fun and challenging. Especially if you want to find all the "collectables" in every level. Another great bonus to buying this game is the FREE DLC that is offered on the Nintendo Wii U Eshop. You get more levels and worlds for FREE!! This extends the life and value of this game.
Summary: I'm not sure why this game has gotten such bad reviews, but I don't think it's bad at all. I don't think it's the best sonic game out there, but it's very far from being one of the bad ones. It's definitely not as fast paced as some of the classic Sonic games, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like the fact that you can take your time exploring and how the gameplay can change from stage to stage.
Not The Best Sonic Game, But A Solid Addition To The Series
9 January 2014
Summary: One of the only things this game lacks in meaningful co-op, and racing with other characters. Other than that this is a solid sonic experience with solid platforming, and speedy "fun" levels. The story is very lackluster and feels tacked on, but the gameplay is fun, yet reminiscent of super mario galaxy. Four Stars.
