Will never 'rage' quit this game, but will certainly 'meh' quit.

Summary: Not a bad game, not a great game. I love Mario Kart, the other big multi-player racing franchise (5 stars) available for the Wii U at the moment, which will of course beg comparison to Sonic All-Stars. Some of the concepts here are good, the games looks nice and has a decent amount of content, but the physics/mechanics are clunky and stiff, like and old school arcade game. At the core of any racing game, this is what matters to me. The game just didn't feel dialed in.
Summary: Just an awesome game all around. We have both this and MarioKart and I'd suggest this if you were only buying one. There are die hard Mario fans, they're not going to be converted as the latest Mario is great but it's definitely worth the try. The only downside is my son was having a hard time with the flying and boat controls as they are definitely 'looser' than the car. Not enough to stop him from playing though.
Summary: Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is an excellent game. The ever changing courses, as well as character choices make it really fun. I have always been a fan of Mario Cart but think that this game is superior. Adding in both air and sea racing to the basic carts was a great concept and provides hours of fun.
