Great premise, but needed lots of polish.

Summary: This is the first Monster Hunter game I have tried. The premise sounded interesting so I decided to buy this game and see how fun it would be. Graphics FMV 9/10 in-game 2/10 While the box art, and in game movies look fantastic. The in game graphics are dated, as in gamecube era dated. I was beyond disappointed with the in-game look. Pixilation, cross texturing, blurred characters and mobs, and poor rendering plague the game.
Summary: Really unimpressed by this game. First off, the game interface uses about the most unintuitive set of controls I've ever come across in a modern game (ex: the Start button is used to kick or for a special attack???). The dialogs are way too wordy, convoluted, and too small to read. The camera system is terrible. Controls are sluggish and terrible. I heard this game was challenging, and it's true, but it's a challenge because the controls just feel off.
