  • Excerpt: Call of Duty is one of the most notorious franchises this generation. The sheer popularity of the games virtually eclipses most other games of its ilk, and they are almost always the biggest selling titles of the year. Perhaps the biggest reason for this is how each game delivers some new content with each iteration, yet still maintains the same feel. I'm not just talking about multiplayer, either.

  • Summary: The past and the future meet on many levels in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. In the campaign, you relive the events that made a man into a villain, then fight to avert his plans for future catastrophe. The competitive multiplayer offers the same frenetic intensity of past games in the series while providing a new way to play that subverts the history of these hallowed online battlefields.
  • Pros: Great campaign scripting, Story choices are often tough and encourage replay, You can play the whole game on the GamePad
  • Cons: Zombies mode is stagnant, Intriguing League Play mode is unusable

Treyarch's Blockbuster On Wii U Is Mostly Unchanged

Game Informer
21 November 2012
  • Conclusion: Concept: Introduce minimal GamePad elements to the newest Call of Duty Graphics: On par with the other versions, outside of some stutter when playing local multiplayer Sound: Campaign features some Hollywood-caliber voice acting, and the shootouts sound appropriately chaotic Playability: I actually found myself preferring the GamePad over the pro controller Entertainment: Multiplayer issues aside, fans of the franchise will find plenty to like Replay: Moderate

Review: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

N-Europe
13 January 2013
  • Conclusion: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has more content than almost any other release. It really is phenomenal how much Treyarch have packed into the game and that alone deserves high praise. This isn't some cookie cutter yearly update which demands your cash for some stat changes and a few maps, it's huge value for money. What's more, the game is presented well with excellent production values.
  • Pros: More content than ever before, Looks and sounds great, Some great new additions and tweaks, Lots of control schemes & two player without splitscreen
  • Cons: Strike Force missions are a missed opportunity, Map designs aren't up to Treyarch's usual high standards, Horrible lag ruins the online experience

Official Nintendo Magazine
1 January 2013
  • Excerpt: Call Of Duty hasn't been kind to Nintendo fans. Wii's ports resembled school productions of the other formats' Hollywood blockbusters: all cereal box skyscrapers and mushroom clouds conjured with weedy guffs of dry ice. Online modes were missing and those that made the cut were abandoned at birth: no DLC, no patching, no chance. But after five long years of battered COD, Activision has finally promised Nintendo Wii U owners the real deal.

Test : Call of Duty : Black Ops II

GameHope
12 October 2014

Call Of Duty : Black Ops II

micromania.fr
4 June 2014
