Summary: Call me grouchy, but I can't help but feel the quest for flashy graphics and gritty realism is chipping away at what made great action games in the past: the gameplay. Case in point: the critically-acclaimed Batman Arkham series.
Summary: Overall, a good game. Fun and challenging at times. As many have noted, much of the fighting in the game is really just button mashing. Even the bosses are fairly easy to defeat once you figure out their weakness.
Summary: This is a truly immersive game that really makes you feel like batman himself. Combat mechanics are outstanding, and you'll never get tired of trying for continuous combos against 20 enemies at once. However, the Wii U version lags.
Summary: Great beat'em up mechanics, just like Asylum, but open world. Problem is that it introduces too many villains too fast and felt kind of messy. Other than that, it is what it is, and that is enjoyable.
Summary: I wanted to try some different games for my Wii U, to fill in the gaps between Nintendo's stellar first party titles. As a Nintendo fan, I find this ok. I'm not sure what the fuss is about to be honest, but I'm sure all the rave reviews can't be wrong.
