Snowboard Kids (N64): the kiddies snowboard rocks!
21 July 2010
Summary: This was one of my brother's favorite games and I always used to sneak on it when I had the chance! Which I did doing quite a lot of the time! You have the choice of five characters : Slash, Nancy, Jam, Linda or Tommy. Slash and Jam are average speed, Nancy is slow speed and Linda and Tommy are fast speed! This why I always went for Linda cause she was one of the fastest ones! You can either play one player, two player, three player or four player!
Pros: awesome game, great music, graphics and challenges!
Summary: If Nintendo could have made "Mario Board", it would have been very similar to this. With powerups galore peppering the track, playable levels, and cutesy characters you can see the similarities. But there are also some interesting differences. The coin system used to buy powerups and upgrade your boards is a neat way of combining prizes for winning races, collecting coins littered about the courses, and coaxing you into pulling off outrageous special stunts.
Pros: Fun, Excellent multiplayer, Much like Mario Kart
Summary: When I saw this game in my local games shop I wasn't impressed by its outward appearance, however the price was right and they didn't have anything else appealing so I bought it and was pleasantly surprised. The basic premise behind the game is that you race on your snowboard through 8 different courses at first(bonus courses awarded when these are completed) doing tricks along the way to win money in order to buy more boards.
Summary: Or should that be try not to shout at the kids. This is a very fun game, the controls are a little confusing, but easy to get used to. The graphics are cute and the sound matches. To play as a one player this is quite a fun game, with more cources becoming unlocked as you win enough races, new boards to buy and a secret charctor to be found.
