Pokemon Snap

Thunderbolt Games
29 July 2004
  • Excerpt: Why does Nintendo do the things that they do? Seriously, sometimes it just really bothers me. When fans were calling for a 3D Pokemon RPG of epic scale like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Nintendo responded that they did have Pokemon games in the works for the Nintendo 64. Firstly, they had Pokemon Stadium , which took arguably the worst part of Pokemon, battling, made you do it over and over again, all for nothing, since you couldn’t level up your Pokemon and...

NFL Blitz 2001

Sports Gaming Network
22 January 2001
  • Conclusion: NFL Blitz 2001 is a fun game and I enjoyed playing it. It's fast-paced and there are a lot of touchdowns and vicious hitting. The game, though, feels like NFL Blitz 2000 with new rosters and schedules. The party games are a new feature that will be enjoyed by many, but I doubt if it is enough for someone to go out and buy the game. If you enjoyed the Blitz's of the past, you'll surely enjoy this one.

Turok: Rage Wars is classic shooter action

GIN
23 February 2000
  • Excerpt: All right soldiers weapons check! Fall in line! All right maggots, let's lock and load and move it out! We got fritters that need fryin! Turok:Rage Wars, the newest member of the Turok family is clearly the most violent, relentless and unforgiving title of the series. Plain and simple its kill or be killed. Eliminate all resistance. This game ain't for pansies. Only the strong survive. With the influence of the expansion pak, graphics are no doubt impressive.

Pokemon Snap

Gamebits
2 August 1999
  • Excerpt: It started last September with two Game Boy games: Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. With that, Pokemania crossed the Pacific and spread across our nation like wildfire, spurring otherwise mild gamers and youngsters into a collecting frenzy . Now for the first time on Nintendo 64, gamers can feed their hunger with Nintnedo's Pokemon Snap.

Expert Review

  • Excerpt: You might as well shoot me now; I’ve become a fan of Pokemon. This blatantly fluffy kiddie title has all the ear-marks of great gaming and gracefully omits the blood and guts and death and violence that so many games seem to need in order to play well.
