Paper Mario was the first episode for the Paper Mario series and was also the precursor to the GameCube game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The player role in the game is to control Mario and a number of partners to solve the puzzles around the world and to defeat enemies in a turn-based battle system. The battles are single in that the player can influence the effectiveness of attacks by performing required controller inputs known as action commands.
Paper Mario is set in the Mushroom Kingdom as the leading role Mario tries to rescue the Princess Peach from Bowser. To achieve so, Mario must locate seven “Star Spirits” to work against the effects of the captured Star Rod, which will grant Mario to the Bowser. The player has to control majority the main character Mario in the game. Mario has the ability to jump and use his hammer to overcome physical obstacles placed in the game. Many puzzles and boundaries in the game are based upon the abilities of Mario’s partners, who each have a particular skill required for progression in the game. The player will gain partners as they advance into different locations but only one partner will be able to accompany Mario around the world, although the player can interchange between them at any time. Mario is features with eight partners in total, each of whom represents a different type of enemy from the Mario series. There are Goombario the Goomba; Kooper the Koopa; Bombette the Bob-omb; Parakarry the Paratroopa; Lady Bow the Boo; Watt the L’il Sparky; Sushie the Cheep-Cheep, and Lakilester the Lakitu.

I say Images of poochy and Nep-Enut in paper mario before it was released. I know they were removed but doesnt anyone know what they did? Were they enemies you fought?
