Excerpt: *A review which is primarily based on the single-player experience of the third-person action-adventure game, Jet Force Gemini.* Jet Force Gemini sees you taking on the evil tyrant of Mizar in a battle across the universe, and although the story, aimed at children (above the age of eleven - thanks...
Excerpt: The game is amazing, there are loads of cool cut scenes and they have got the gunshot effects and plasma rifle blasts down to a science. The first impressions are ace, there is a space shot at the start of the games first cut scene which is a bit blurry but never the less you are soon reassured by...
Excerpt: Jet Force Gemini. Huge and 3D, with big guns. The best shoot 'em up adventure game I have ever played. Some awesome graphics, sounds and storyline considering it is a shoot-em up. First you will see a cut scene showing Juno, Vela and Lupus in their ship when they see on their screen Mizar's drone's...
Excerpt: Why is it many don’t see the attraction of Jet Force Gemini? You play a group of young people (and a dog) Lupus, Juno and Vela and fight against the evil ant army. It is absolutely brilliant and has probably some of the greatest graphics you will ever see.
Excerpt: Set in space with the usuall silly story-line, this game is a brilliant meld of 3rd person adventure and 1st person blaster. What with Rare doing what they do best the adventure aspects of Jet Force Gemini are equal to if not better than those in Banjo-Kazooie.
Pros: Great characters, lots to do, awsome action, brilliant A . I .
Cons: A bit tough, rubbish story, boring weapons .
Excerpt: Jet Force Gemini is a shooting/adventure game for the Nintendo 64. It was released a year or so ago and has received much praise. I for one can't see what all the fuss is about. Firstly, it was developed by Rare, who you should know by now make great games.
Excerpt: Those guys at Rare really know what they're doing. They provide with such games as, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo and Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing. With all these excellent games flying about, they have to be sure that there next game will live up to the reputation Rare have built for themselves.
Excerpt: This is what it's all about - a game that incorporates a sense of fun, action, danger, splendid visuals, a stirring soundtrack - it above all reeks of originality. This is a game that does not benefit/suffer from a legacy or is part of a franchise.
Excerpt: Jet Force Gemini has it's good points and it's bad points. The single player mode is very interesting to start with, but being forced to watch large amounts of very boring videos that are of no real relavence to the game soon makes it less interesting.
Excerpt: Further to the previous comments on Jet Force Gemini, the game, like any has good points and bad points. While JFG may not be as instantly accessible as other comparable offerings, I found it a hugely enjoyable game to play. For one, the graphics are simply the best I've seen on the N64.
Pros: Best Graphics on the N64, surround sound music and SFX, excellent gameplay
