Excerpt: F-Zero X is a great game, a large variety of characters and ships to play as, and exhilerating tracks to drive on. Single player mode features races of enormous proportions (several AI drivers), and 2 and 3 player mode also features ai to make the number up to 4. Drive on the most interesting of tracks, including extreme jumps and driving on the inside roof of pipes. Including the Rainbow Road track from Mario Kart 64.
Pros: Fast Paced races, Singleplayer is great fun due to large amount of drivers, 4 player
Cons: Multiplayer races feature only 4 drivers, gets repetitive .
A good alternative to Mario Kart if serious, futuristic racers are more your thing.

Excerpt: F Zero X is a futuristic racer for Nintendo's 64 console, bringing with it the blistering speeds and chaotic tracks that the series is known for. You start by picking a car (if they can be called cars) from a massive selection, with more to unlock, then are thrown into a lightning fast race against many other opponents.
The game is really good, but it can become repetitive after doing a couple of championships.

Plenty to fuel your enthusiasm, a lasting racing classic for the N64

Excerpt: F-Zero X is, in my opinion, one of the finest racing games ever conceived for the Nintendo. In 1993 "F Zero" hit the SNES and wowed the critics with it's (relatively) neat graphics, high speed racing and intriguing concept. Before I continue writing, please note that at the end of this review I have included information for the experienced player - new tips and tricks I've picked up that keep the game "alive", so to speak.
Excerpt: F Zero X is a futuristic racing game for the Nintendo 64 games console. F Zero X Upon loading up F Zero X you will be greeted by a rocking guitar riff which sets the tone nicely for the game, it rocks! There is an excellent selection of great modes for you to choose from, GP Race, Time Attack, Death Race, VS battle and of course practice mode.
Excerpt: F-Zero X. A classic worthy of bieng in the top 50 best games of all time? Or a misjudged racing nightmare? Well, Lets cover certain fiends that i think every racing game NEEDS to have. .:Sensitive Controls:. Yep, it most certainly has sensitive controls. Turning is a slight annoyance, you can only turn a certain amount with one ship and it's hard to only turn a little, yet that can be overcome by the overwhelming speed and 30 ships in one race.
Pros: Selection of Karts and Tracks, Speed, Boost Capability

Pros: Fun to play, many different game modes, cheap nowadays
Cons: Slightly outdated now, requires a N64 which not everyone has anymore
Excerpt: OK, so I never had the joy of anything like a Nintendo as a kid, but recently I’ve been able to get my grubby student mitts on my boyfriend’s old N64. Yes, it’s old, outdated, laugh as much as you like, but personally I’ve become hooked on the racing game F Zero X. (sequel to Nintendo's popular racing game F-Zero) WHAT'S THE OBJECT OF THE GAME?
Pros: not too taxing, loads of different play modes
Cons: old game, graphics are outdated and music too repetitive
Excerpt: F zero x is a one-of-a-kind racing world from another galaxy. The cars and tracks make it a unique driving experience. When you first load the game you are greeted by a display screen of five different catagories: Practice Grand Prix Multiplayer Death Race Time Attack PRACTICE- From choosing this sub-topic you can choose from any of the tracks from JACK, QUEEN, or KING or if you are further in the game JOKER.
Excerpt: This one steps into the same realm as Wipeout, only it is incredibly playable! I played this almost to death at uni with my mates, and I remember one time we spent four solid weeks shaving split seconds off our time trial time for one track (Big Blue was it?). It was that one where it has loads of progressive speed-up pads, and the computer racer is impossible to beat. Anyway we had hours and hours of fun on this game just as we did on the snes original.
Pros: Faster than Road Runner on ProPlus . Only more funny
Cons: You may case damage to a)your pad or b)your friend as a result of F - Zero
