Excerpt: The first time people see this game the first thing they say is always along the lines of "Eghhh im not getting this it looks rubbish" Little do they know what a liitle gem this is. Yes the graphics are not very good, but that is for a reason, they are function. This game is vast with a multitude of vehicles, weapons and aliens. The levels reward exploration with lots of hidden secrets such as tanks and bazookas!
Pros: Amazingly frantic gameplay, lots to see and do, cool weapons .
Excerpt: Vast worlds, big guns and explosions, hundreds of vehicles, gore, rpg adventuring, what more can you want? Well actually, more detailed and more textured terrain, less stiff control and a bit more speed wouldn't go amiss (There's nothing worse than drowning while trying to swim across a one metre gap!) But if you can look past those flaws, you are playing one inventive and thought-provoking game. DMA Design have created one of the most original games in the N64 library.
Pros: 50 odd vehicles, atmospheric sound, fairly playable, large playing levels
Cons: Foggy backgrounds, slow at times, bland graphics
Excerpt: This game is fun to play although it does require some logic.I liked it because its a kind of strategic shoot em up.The range of vehicles is pretty good and the characters add that tiny little something.Even though I did like the game I found it slow moving and at times it got a bit boring, which probably made it better as I thought some alien would pop up behind me at any second. If you like to pump aliens full of lead, like sci-fi games and a bit of strategy, then this...
Excerpt: I eagerly anticipated this game for some time, having seen a preview of it in a magazine. I wasn't disappointed at all. The game sees Earth having been plagued for the past 100 years by a race of giant insect-like aliens. The final wave of aliens is about to attack. You play the hero, Adam Drake, who must travel back in time to four points in history, when the Earth was attacked, and prevent the invasion. The plot is good. The graphics are good enough.
Pros: Great concept, You get to squish bugs, Good variability of levels
Excerpt: Body Harvest is a good game despite its age and can be bought cheaply. It has reasonably good graphics and is suitable for gamers of most abilities to play, although the later levels can get quite difficult. The game is set in 2016 AD after a century of alien attacks on mankind. You have to travel back in time to various stages in the past to stop the alien attacks and save the world. There are a lot of different monsters, weapons and vehicles to keep you entertained.
Excerpt: I played this for not too long, just to try and get a feel of the game, to see what it was like. The first thing I noticed was the damn awful graphics which made every thing look really ugly and distorted. It was quite fun to play, and had some quite original ideas. Getting into cars, tanks, motorbikes and fire engines was fun, even though you are twice the size of the cars. There is no multiplayer either, which makes it a drag.
Excerpt: The story involves a giant insect infested comet that passes by Earth every 25 years. These aliens harvest humans for food and to create zombie-like slaves. By 2016 the population of Earth has been decimated apart from one last outpost on a space station. These build a time machine and send two commandos, Adam and his sidekick Daisy, back to the various invasion points throughout the Twentieth Century in an attempt to save humanity.
Excerpt: A good game and one you'll play forever (if you don't like bugs that is) It's 2016 AD, Earth is dead, Mankind is annihalated. Hunted to extinction by a centuryof alien attacks. One last, desperate chance remains. Someone must travel back in time and attack the alien predators before they complete their hideous invasion. I picked it up for £10 brand new and it wasn't out of my N64 for month's and the levels are massive i only got to America 1966 after 3 month's.
