BattleTanx: Global Assault
1 February 2004
Excerpt: Plus, they smushed that stupid bear again. Today is Valentine's Day (Yes, I'm writing a video game review on Valentine's Day. Somebody shoot me.). So I ask the question: Do you have a girlfriend? Do you have a special Valentine today? Well, if you ever want to fall for a girl, you better do it soon. In the year 2006, the year of BattleTanx: Global Assault , it's gonna be a whole lot harder to get a date.
Pros: Good graphics, Tight controls, Blow everything up, Lots of ways to play, Not terribly original, Boring sound
Excerpt: How can I put this? The graphics for BattleTanx: Global Assault were... not good. As a matter of fact, the only thing that kept this good game from being great was the graphics. I thought I was playing on a Super Nintendo. I do have to admit, even though the graphics sucked, it was smooth. I can give up some for that. But, everything was blurry and blocky. It was an eyesore.
