Excerpt: I have had a pair of these for about a week. I bought them to provide more reliable networking for the AV gear on the far side of the house, to replace WiFi which has had dropouts. I found the distance to be too long for the Zyxels ... they connected reliably but speed was only about 15M.
Summary: Overall it is a good product. I am able to stream from a roku device in a remote portion of the house. I tried to place a swictch on the receiver side and split to a Wifi AP, but the 80Mbps really limits this. This is not a fault on the product.
Pros: Good signal quality. Easy Setup. Good Status Indicators.
Cons: Best I could get on the same electrical circuit was 80Mbps.
Summary: This is a interesting way to extend your internet throughout the house. Not as fast as what they advertise but still much better for me than the wireless set up I was running. I get the best performance by bridging my wireless connection with the wired from this adapter.
Summary: I purchased this to replace a wireless to wireless network setup and I am extremely pleased with the ease of configuration and the performance of this powerline adapter. I mainly use it for my BluRay player to stream Netflix movies.
