First, download the driver from Trendnet

Frank J., Newegg
  • Summary: Website for driver
  • Pros: Small size, can leave plugged in to travel. Good range for a unit this size, at 45 feet from old Cisco E2000 router performs slightly better than built-in Toshiba laptop receiver.
  • Cons: Requires Trendnet driver to work with Win7 Home and Pro. Must download latest driver. Using the driver on the supplied CD it acts like like it has very poor performance and then apparently dies.

  • Summary: I was pleasantly surprised that such an inexpensive gadget could work so well. The software download was quick and easy and the signal strength from about 15 feet away through a wall hovers at about 88%. I'm elated!!!!

  • Summary: Fast enough wireless for my needs. If you want faster, then buy the 300 Mbps. USB plug in works great and is much less expensive and easier than installing a wireless card.

  • Summary: The wireless adapter fit easily into a USB port, instructional cd loaded easily with minimal installation steps and connected to network simply. For under $15, it's working fantastic with no complications or fuss!! Just simple knowledge of computers and your network information gets you connected......maybe 15 minutes! Definitely recommend for anyone interested in being able to remove internet cables from the desktop to relocate else where for your convenience.
