Summary: The wifi card in a Lenovo laptop was junk from new. Replaced under warranty and the new one more of the same problems. Finally woke up and bought this item. Problem is history. Even bought a spare so as to be ready for future failures. Go for it!
Summary: The adapter works but was tedious to install. Was having difficultly with my laptop wireless connection after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and then Windows 10 and the signal would drop intermittently. Was hoping this would address the issue.
Summary: Purchased this product for a computer that could not connect to the internet via an ethernet cable. I chose this particular wireless adapter because of the low price and because it was compatible with the Vista operating system on this computer.
Summary: If you are using this for an old desktop like I tried, do not bother. Does not work well with the USB ports on the tower. I have resorted to an actual network card that installs on the inside of the tower.
Summary: Did not use my old computer, windows vista, for about a year after I bought Windows 7. When I tried to connect my old computer to ATT Uverse, wi fi would only connect to local and no internet. I googled the problem and a lot of people had the same problem.
Summary: It works well for the price if you're not much into gaming online. The connection is unstable at times and it seems slow to pick up the wifi signal of a saved connection. There are times it will just outright drop the connection and take a few seconds to reconnect..
