Summary: Purchased this product for a computer that could not connect to the internet via an ethernet cable. I chose this particular wireless adapter because of the low price and because it was compatible with the Vista operating system on this computer.
Summary: If you are using this for an old desktop like I tried, do not bother. Does not work well with the USB ports on the tower. I have resorted to an actual network card that installs on the inside of the tower.
Summary: Did not use my old computer, windows vista, for about a year after I bought Windows 7. When I tried to connect my old computer to ATT Uverse, wi fi would only connect to local and no internet. I googled the problem and a lot of people had the same problem.
Summary: It works well for the price if you're not much into gaming online. The connection is unstable at times and it seems slow to pick up the wifi signal of a saved connection. There are times it will just outright drop the connection and take a few seconds to reconnect..
Summary: For the money this is a great buy, and it not being a long stick is great for enclosed computer desks don't have to worry about breaking the USB plug-in. You just need to have it somewhat close to the router. Enjoying my Internet.......
Summary: Works as good as a $40 one. I like that it's small. Broke two of a more expensive brand because they got bumped a few times and eventually stopped working . Easy to install and connection works great on my Compaq, Windows Xp.
