Inexpensive and works as it should.

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: First off, I had been keeping my eye out for a cheap alternative to the 360's wireless adapter for sometime now, and when I saw this unit as apart of Amazon's lightning deals for $30 I couldn't pass that up. Before buying this unit, I was sure to peruse for reviews to see other peoples' luck with the item and was left a bit confused on how the product would perform.

Works great in the rain

Christian S., Newegg
20 June 2013
  • Summary: I left this out in a heavy rainstorm by accident :( But to my surprise, it works like new after letting it dry a week. I now use this as a 'repeater' where I plug this into another router so I can use the internet on the opposite side of the house - my laptop was getting <5mbit, this is getting >50mbit.
  • Pros: Small form-factor Strong antenna High Bandwidth "Water Proof"
  • Cons: None!

  • Pros: I got it today and could not wait to install it. It did not too much effort for me. I just pushed the wps button on my router and this unit. Good to go in a matter of seconds !

  • Summary: This was literally plug and play. Took it out of the box, plugged it in and my XBox 360 was online with no issues whatsoever.
  • Pros: Price and ease of use
  • Cons: Front LEDs are a bit bright, hide it = problem solved

  • Pros: Got it for my slow @#% PS3 connection (wireless). Could not believe it didn't come with a wireless N... Hooked it up and getting 14+ mg per sec download and 4+ upload... not too bad for a wireless with the PS3 about 80ft away

Quick and Easy

Nathan E., Newegg
3 December 2012
  • Pros: I needed an gaming adapter for, believe it or not, my aquarium controller. I decided on the TRENDnet on the recommendation of a friend who has never had any problems with his adapter. It has a very small footprint, so it doesn't take up much space under the cabinet. It's a piece of cake to setup and only took about 10 minutes. Keep in mind, that you want to set this up by directly connecting it to your computer, not to your existing router. It's been online and workin...

Canon

Jim R., Newegg
16 August 2012
  • Summary: I just bought it because I thought it should work, and it did.
  • Pros: Did wps setup, connected to a Canon ImageRunner copier, the Canon prints, scans, emails just like it did when it was hard connected.
  • Cons: Not really a con, but there are no references to this device as being a network print server.

Easy Setup, Doesn't Drop

James R., Newegg
17 July 2012
  • Summary: I also picked up a TRENDnet TEW-684UB USB 2.0 Dual Band Wireless N Adapter. I really wish this device did dual band as well. Excellent price for what you get.
  • Pros: I set this up through my PC using the install CD. Very easy to walk through even for the less computer savvy. One thing I really like about this device is that it has a static IP address that I can connect to through a web browser to view stats and reconfigure if I want. I'm linking to a EnGenius ESR750H High Power 300+450Mbps Dual-Band Wireless-N Router without issue, my upload rate seems to cap out at about 12 Mbps and this little guy only sees the 2.4 GHz range. I'...
  • Cons: I would have been happier if the case was metal to help conduct some of the heat out of the device. It gets pretty warm in places with no AC or air flow.

good product

Anonymous, Newegg
15 June 2012
  • Summary: one review here indicated there are 3 ports which is NOT the case. it's one ethernet port on the back and that's it. i actually bought it based on that review and should have paid more attention to the details of the device.
  • Pros: good distance and quality connection
  • Cons: little pricey for one output.
