For someone who is good with networking this may be something that will work

Summary: I purchased this in hopes it would help with the connectivity issues that my Sony blue ray DVD player had due to lack of signal strength from our wireless router. Even with the other reviews tips on workarounds it was unable to work.
Summary: ...this is a pain to setup if your home wireless router you're attempting to connect to isn't equipped with WPS. I'm not a computer/networking newbie by any means, but it took way to long to get it up and running.
Summary: I'm using this device to connect to a EnGenius ESR750H High Power 300+450Mbps Dual-Band Wireless-N Router. They seem to work pretty well together. This is a fantastic device for dual band networking, but I think it sucks that it has to use the USB port.
Pros: Fast transfer rates (18 Mbps down, 1.5 up), the device is small (and light) and can be put just about anywhere. Stable connection, been using it for a week without getting any drops. It's picked up on wireless signals that were too weak for my laptop to see.
Cons: The USB cable is really short, I had to get an extender to get it to where I wanted to put the device on my desk. The installation utility is buggy as hell. Even after it "installs" I still had to keep the DVD in the drive if I want to configure the device, check the status of the device. Then, e...
Summary: 1-It does not play nice with WPA-TKIP/WPA2, it drops connection and tries to connect again every two seconds or so according to the logs of my router. It works ok with WEP though. I was able to make it work with WPA/WPA2 before for a while, but not anymore, even after hard resets.
Pros: got it for 25 bucks on cyber monday. not bad for this kind of product.
Summary: TrendNet... pay attention and R&D your products on all OS platforms! Otherwise you'll only get frustrated customers that have to finish the research for you! Just like we had to do with the under-tested Vista OS!
Pros: When it works, it allows the connection of Ethernet network devices to my wireless network where no LAN outlet is present. Now I can connect and work on smoking clients' computers in my garage without stinking up my spare room.
Cons: The first unit I had to RMA to Newegg, because it kept dropping the connection. I was told to RMA the replacement by TrendNet tech support when I could not get setup to complete the configuration. Now I have a used 3rd device TrendNet sent me that also would not complete setup. Tech support was c...
Summary: I got this because it was on sale for 24.99. this was an amazing price for this, and it's worth every penny that i paid for it. it's a simple solution to getting my 360 on the wireless to download all the stuff i had bought. However, i dont think this would be worth the regular price.
Summary: This adapter works really well, when it works. I had 2 major problems with this wireless networking equipment. 1. I COULD NOT get the network setup to work, regardless of any settings tried, until I used the push-button style automatic setup with my wireless router.
Summary: Like the review by R. Neal, I had some issues getting the 647GA running at N speeds. Not content to just dump it and get the Microsoft product, I did some trial and error to figure out if I could remedy the problems.
