Summary: The on board NIC in my computer went out and I bought this as a replacement for it. I popped it in, turned the computer on, and windows 7 recognized it right away. It's been working great ever since.
Summary: Linux loves it, and I do too. Wired is best, but if you gotta go wireless and you don't want to break the bank on AC, and a power line adapter like a TRENDnet Powerline 500 AV2 adapter won't work, then this is hard to beat.
Summary: Excellent wireless Ethernet adapter. I had an old PCIe adapter go out on me; it was old and it was just its time I guess. It would get drips and drabs of signal from time to time but never a download speed faster than 1Mb/s. After installing this card, boom right up to 20Mb/s download, no sweat. Upload was between 3 and 4Mb/s.
Summary: Works perfect so far as it should. It's a network card so not a lot to say. Speed tests showed good throughput. Windows 7 found the device and auto installed the drivers so installation was as simple as plugging it in and booting the PC. If the card fails in less than a year I will provide an update.
