Summary: This card is terrible. Not Windows 7 or Windows 8 compatible. The drivers on the disk comes with a program that only installs on Windows XP. The support for drivers have been discontinued since the people creating it apparently "gave up". Im getting 2mbps of download speed using SpeedTest (i have tested on my Galaxy S3 getting over 18mbps on the SAME wifi). Never purchasing another TPLINK product.
Summary: No surprises here, and no issues. Installation is typical for a PCI card, and the little antennae screw on snugly. Unlike the last N adapter I purchased (which got sent back to the mfg), the antenna jacks don't fall off... Solid and reliable; can't complain.
Summary: And loving it! Better and faster than Netgear. Loaded right up and connected faster than the D-link it replaced and faster than the Netgear in the other computer. NOTE: The one I recieved was a TL-WN851N'D'. Not sure what the difference is.
Summary: Put this in the old PC I use as a Media Center when I upgraded the network to Wireless N Installs easily and appears to work. However, I began to get random BSOD starting the day I installed this product. Unfortunately I was fixated on memory as a cause of the problem which slowed identification and so now have corrupted files. Turns out TP-Link has not updated their drivers despite several updates in reference driver.
