Good for Linux

  • Summary: I spent a while looking for PCI Express wireless N cards that would work on Linux and possibly BSD. This one uses the ath9k module driver for Linux (usually included by default in popular distros, and easy to find in kernel menuconfig), and although it is only 1x1 802.11n (instead of 2 tx/rx antennae for instance), it is actually a lot snappier and stable than my previous card -- that was the recent intel centrino N 2200 card I got off newegg last summer.
