Summary: as a note to anyone with a fresh install on windows 7: The system will have a hard time recognizing and keeping the drivers, everything gets fixed once you do the necessary windows updates, ironically you need to get the updates online so you will have to use the port on your MOBO for the updates before using this card.
Summary: Plugged this into an older motherboard for win xp use. Fired up the install cd & after a full week, no issues what-so-ever. Connection is always excelent or very good. I use this with a TP link router & modem too. Router is about 15ft from the computer.
Summary: got this to replace wired network card, seems to work good, not much problems, install was very easy, speeds are similar to wired speeds, would recommend this for people looking for cheap way to go wireless
Pros: good price, quick speeds, good range, plug and play
Summary: I purchased a few of these to keep my desktops as cable free as possible. Windows 7 automatically detected and installed a generic driver for it, and Windows update found the latest driver after I was connected to the web. And as a bonus, this also works on PC Hackintoshes (PCs running OS X).
Pros: - Atheros/Attansic chipset
Cons: - Not the strongest antenna, but good nonetheless
