Cons: Died extremely fast and out of nowhere. Just up and died. I've had an old Dlink adapater for probably ~8 years and it's still running fine (albeit slower than most modern adapters). Really disappointed in this adapater.
Summary: Would of been nice if some soft of clip was included for laptops or stand for desktops.
Pros: The TP-Link (TL-WDN3200) is a little bit bigger than a standard USB drive and has a nice white gloss color to it. It's nice to see manufactures moving away from black colors for their devices. The TP-Link comes with instal guide, USB cable and mini-CD containing the software. There are two options for getting your TP-Link up and going. Connect the TP-Link to your computer and let windows configure it for you or use the provided software. I opted for option one and was...
Summary: It seems to work, but it does seem to lack any additional power over the WiFi adapter already in the laptop. And it had no power to pull in the 5GHz signal from any meaningful distance. If you want to uninstall the software and drivers properly you have to use the CD to uninstall because the drivers don't uninstall from the control panel (even though it tells you it did).
Summary: Adapter would not pick up my router (a TP-Link router at that!) while plugged into the back of my HTPC (near a wall). That was the same position a NetGear adapter had been working excellently in for over a year. Bought the TP-Link adapter to match my new router. Had trouble from the get-go, couldn't get a signal unless I plugged the adapter into one of the front USB ports on my HTPC.
Pros: Actual rating 3.5 eggs. Solid 300Mbps wireless connection.
Cons: Utility software is intrusive and not as good as just letting Windows manage the connection. Connection sometimes drops after system reboot. Particularly sensitive to placement, signal can be lost with a slight shift.

Summary: older drivers have excellent 2.4ghz speeds but are unable to see 5ghz connections so when I upgraded to the newest driver I could connect to 5ghz but the 2.4ghz speeds were cut in half cant find out why (windows 8.1)
Summary: Signal quality is always high with very little interference, even on 5Ghz coming from the basement (I'm on the second floor). Plug and play, as expected. Light and portable. UPDATE (4 months - down to 3 stars from 5): I have to echo the disappointment other have experienced with dropped connections. When it works, it's fantastic, but 5GHz started to be very unstable recently and it's annoying to have to reset it every other day now.
Pros: Поддержка 5Ггц, цена
Cons: Глючные драйвера, что идут в комплекте и на сайте самого TP-Link.
