DO NOT BUY IF YOU USE WINDOWS 8.1

Noah Pierson, Amazon
18 February 2015
  • Summary: Words can't express how disappointed I am in this adapter. I just purchased the Archer C8 dual-band router and was so happy with it I decided to buy a TP-Link adapter to go with it and to make sure I was getting optimal wireless speeds.

Terrible: Kept loosing connection

equakeman, Amazon
16 November 2014
  • Summary: Terrible: Kept loosing connection, and would only deliver 20 Mbps or less on Time Warner Cable 50 Mbps service. If you want the best connection and get the fastest download speeds, get this Wifi Adapter: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for Desktop. AC is the latest technology and is the fastest.

Quality and reliability is a concern

Eric Lobdell, Amazon
4 November 2014
  • Summary: This review is for the TP-LINK TL-WDN3200 Dual Band Wireless N600 USB Adapter, a white stick-shaped USB device. The way Amazon has it listed seems to combine reviews for multiple sister products from TP-LINK. [See updates below--product may not be reliable!

I ended up going with a Tenda USB adapter that has been much more reliable and offers great performance.

Jessica, Amazon
19 July 2014
  • Summary: I bought this based on the positive reviews, but it died after about 3 weeks of casual gaming. Did not use it for much data or video... Device was always very warm and finally started losing the wifi signal before it was no longer recognized when plugged into the USB.

Died in 2 weeks!

Anonymous, Newegg
7 January 2014
  • Summary: I would steer clear of this device. Since buying it I've read other peoples reviews. This device has a high failure rate so I suggest buying Netgear, Linksys or Belkin
  • Pros: Doesn't have a stupidly bright light on it like other devices.
  • Cons: Died in 2 weeks of buying it, claims to be Plug and Play with Windows 8 but this is not the case, CD did not contain Windows 8 drivers

My first 1 egg review

Yan T., Newegg
19 August 2013
  • Summary: In my memory, this may be the first and only 1 egg review I ever had.
  • Pros: Price, supposed to be dual band
  • Cons: Does not work. I think it worked the first day. Then I put it aside. A few months later, I started to use it but no matter what I tried - install and reinstall driver, different machines, laptop, desktop, win7 win8(beta driver). Nothing can make it work properly. It connected one time in the win7...

Chneg K., Newegg
9 August 2013
  • Pros: honestly, none. supports dual bands maybe?!
  • Cons: My first TP-Link product and it makes me really disappointed. The adapter died after using only ONE month . Wasn't even downloading huge file or torrents and no online gaming as well. Only streaming some youtube videos and regular surfacing webs. The wireless adapter still became extremely hot an...

Design problem, died in less then 1 month

Anonymous, Newegg
4 August 2013
  • Summary: I bought this USB wireless adapter together with TP-WDR3600 wireless router on 6/27. Because of the misleading document, I actually start to using them two or three weeks late. The router and this USB adapter worked very well. Yesterday night this USB adapter died, in less than one month usage.
  • Pros: 2.4/5G 2 channels 802.11/n ... fast and stable link.
  • Cons: Design problem on Heat dispensing. Died in less then 1 month usage.
