THIS DEVICE IS A PIECE OF CRAP

Fabio Pereira Rocha, Amazon
15 October 2014
  • Summary: This device is a TOTAL GARBAGE... DON'T BUY IT! This is the SECOND ONE I own that simply DIED in less than two months!!! The first one also DIED in a similar fashion but I decided to give the device a second chance thinking maybe I just got unlucky the first time.

I ended up going with a Tenda USB adapter that has been much more reliable and offers great performance.

Jessica, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this based on the positive reviews, but it died after about 3 weeks of casual gaming. Did not use it for much data or video... Device was always very warm and finally started losing the wifi signal before it was no longer recognized when plugged into the USB.

I do not recommend

WP, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought the TP-Link TL-WDN3200 N600 dual band wireless adapter dongle to connect my Win 8.1 (later Win 10) laptop to my TP-LINK TL-WDR3600 Wireless N600 Dual Band Router with the 5 GHz band. First the good.

not for linux

Evelyn Brengle, Amazon
11 January 2014
  • Summary: I wanted an adapter to use the 5G band, and thought this adapter used a linux-supported chipset. I easily installed it on 2 windows 7 laptops. The iPad was already 5G enabled. Alas, I forgot about the printer, which only supported the 2.4G band.

Quality and reliability is a concern

Eric Lobdell, Amazon
5 November 2013
  • Summary: This review is for the TP-LINK TL-WDN3200 Dual Band Wireless N600 USB Adapter, a white stick-shaped USB device. The way Amazon has it listed seems to combine reviews for multiple sister products from TP-LINK. [See updates below--product may not be reliable!

Abysmal performance

Akshay Gandhi, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: I had purchased this adapter to get better coverage and speed but it provides me with no advantage over a 2+ years old D Link 150 wireless adapter. Total waste of money - instead buy some other brand

J. jay, Amazon
15 September 2014

Dunadan, Amazon
4 May 2014
