Excerpt: Bought this for my fiancés desktop computer. Did some research on several brands & models before deciding this one should work for her needs. I bought this one because it is dual band, meaning I can use the 5GHz or the 2.4GHz band.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection, Secure Connection
Excerpt: Bought this because I needed an adaptor that would handle Time Warner's upgrade to a dual band modem. It works like a charm. By being able to access the 5hGz band my download speed increased by anywhere from five to six times. I am a happy camper!
Works out of the box with the Raspberry Pi model B+

Summary: My 2.4 Ghz network is saturated with multiple devices that was killing latency. Was pleasantly surprised when this adapter just worked! All I had to do was change the wpa-ssid to point to my 5Ghz network and it connected without needing me to do anything else.
Summary: This device is a TOTAL GARBAGE... DON'T BUY IT! This is the SECOND ONE I own that simply DIED in less than two months!!! The first one also DIED in a similar fashion but I decided to give the device a second chance thinking maybe I just got unlucky the first time.

Summary: These wireless usb dongles tend to be complete garbage but i am having good luck with this one. The access point is probably 50 feet away through a couple light drywall walls. My connection is stable.
