Just What I Needed

Paul, Staples
29 November 2014
  • Excerpt: Bought this because I needed an adaptor that would handle Time Warner's upgrade to a dual band modem. It works like a charm. By being able to access the 5hGz band my download speed increased by anywhere from five to six times. I am a happy camper!

Works out of the box with the Raspberry Pi model B+

marcus, Amazon
18 November 2014
  • Summary: My 2.4 Ghz network is saturated with multiple devices that was killing latency. Was pleasantly surprised when this adapter just worked! All I had to do was change the wpa-ssid to point to my 5Ghz network and it connected without needing me to do anything else.

Fabio Pereira Rocha, Amazon
4 November 2014
  • Summary: This device is a TOTAL GARBAGE... DON'T BUY IT! This is the SECOND ONE I own that simply DIED in less than two months!!! The first one also DIED in a similar fashion but I decided to give the device a second chance thinking maybe I just got unlucky the first time.

Hamdi C., Amazon
29 September 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my desktop in the living room and wanted to get rid of the ethernet cord. I decided to purchase this as the solution. For this PC, blazing speed was not necessary so I purchased the dual band model at 300Mbp/s.
