Great way to extend your home network

Seeking Product Quality, Amazon
5 June 2014
  • Summary: I have 5 of these throughout my house. I prefer ethernet wiring over WiFi. It is faster and more secure. Netgear Powerline was the easiest way to extend my ethernet network - no cables to run through walls and attics. I simply plug them into a wall outlet and they work flawlessly.

Internet connections through power outlets like magic.

D. Kent "DBKent", Amazon
2 December 2013
  • Summary: These adapters really work. I picked up the starter unit and added these to the system. They work best on the same access power line but will also work on others but with some degradations. Recommended.

  • Summary: I moved to a townhouse condo. The wireless modem is on the first floor where I use a laptop but won't reach into the basement to my desktop because of cement walls. I never really thougth these would work to solve the problem, but they work like a charm - just plug in and they work.

Built-in Filters are very useful

Amazon Customer, Amazon
11 June 2012
  • Summary: I switched from using to this, and the difference has been very satisfying. The built-in filters with this Powerline adapter kit I suspect make all the difference. Previously I was lucky to get 7-15 Mbps receive speed, but now with my home office and home theater setups both running through filtered...
