Summary: We upgraded to this router from a very low bandwidth netgear router. The old one would only work with 1 or 2 devices. This new netgear is great! We don't do amy gaming but we do have 3 tvs 4 phones 2 iPads and 3 laptops all connected to this router and it hold up pretty well when everything is being used. Well worth the money!!!
Pros: A Lot Of Devices, Easy To Set Up, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Secure Connection
Excerpt: Bought this for my sons college house for he and his housemates. Easy set up, pre-programmed password basically unplug old router and plug this one in. In addition to dual band and newer technology home routers simply wear out because of heat over 4 years. The run 24/7 and components go bad and my son and housemate were constantly getting knocked off and having to reboot. All problems cured.
Excerpt: We had to replace the Netgear N300 that we had. We decided that the Netgear N600 was a step up for us since we had a laptop, tablet and a wireless printer. We were also going to be watching movies on Netflix also so the HD was going to work better for us. The set up was easy with the wizard and we were watching movies and surfing the web faster than what we thought. The sales associate that helped us also said that we would be more satisfied with this router.
Excerpt: This is my third full day of using the new Netgear N600 Dual Band WiFi Router WNDR3400, and so far, it is working beautifully. I am using it to replace a Cisco Valet Plus that was becoming less and less reliable, and so far, I have had no disconnection issues. (The old Cisco was disconnecting many times daily.
Excerpt: Worked for what I wanted it for. Easy to set up, and directions was easy to understand. Will I buy again? I should not as it has a package warranty. Will I recommend to friends, sure buy they all recommended this to me. Pretty good setting this up as I was told by different folks how hard it was..it is not a hard item to install.
