Dissapointed in the seller !

tjpierce56, Ebay
10 April 2014
  • Summary: I bought one from Staples two years ago,and it went bad. I bought one from these people 5 weeks ago , I changed Internet service after ordering it, It is not a cable router,so I sent it back to them unopened at my expense $7.35 . And tommorow will be four weeks that I've been looking for my refund . So I wouldn't buy anything from these people, and if I don't see the refund before long , well let's hope for the best.

Terrible router

Jeffrey A., Newegg
5 January 2014
  • Summary: I usually use D-Link or Linksys routers, but decided to try Netgear out. Terrible mistake.
  • Pros: It worked the first 4 months.
  • Cons: Lasted about 4 months. Really terrible and frustrating router. Constantly drops connection and when there is connection, it's extremely slow. Netgear customer support is just as bad and doesn't seem like they know what they're doing or talking about. All they do is ask the same questions over and over again.

  • Summary: My first one lasted about 3 months - actually a little under because it was still in the 90 warranty period - called Netgear, online chatted with Netgear, and finally they said they would send me a new one. Got it pretty quick and it has lasted about 3 months. Warranty out because they go from the time you buy the first one.....

"Both product and customer service VERY disappointing"

mwood1990, CNET
4 March 2013
  • Pros: It works 80% of the time.
  • Cons: The product decides at random to cease working. Customer service of this company is absolutely terrible; once your 90 day warranty expires they will barely even have a phone conversation with you.
