  • Summary: Easy to install but make sure it is strong enough for your size home. I live in a 2700" two story and it only works on the second story where the router is set up.

  • Excerpt: This was a replacement router and I had read the previous reviews - I live in a 2 story home and my previous router wasn't very good. This one was easy to install and works great ! I am very pleased with the coverage that this router provides!

Netgear N600 RangeMax Wireless Dual Band Router

  • Summary: I bought a new router because the old one didn't reach the furthest corners of my apartment. The 2.4 GHz signal covers not only my apartment well, but I still get signal when I go over to the building next door! The 5 GHz signal is fast, and easy to connect to, as well.

mediocre performance but good enough

  • Summary: This is a fair enough router but the software interface sucks. If you don't use it every day, when you have an issue, you will not find the answer quickly. I had a security issue and the only solution was to reset the device and start over. There was no documentation to make a reinstall easier.
  • Pros: inexpensive router
  • Cons: hard to fix configuration errors without a reset

Still Going Strong 4 Years Later

  • Summary: I am a Netgear Superfan. I've owned this router now for several years and never once had any real issues with it. I was looking for something reliable after having serious issues with another brands router (I was trying to be cheap - You get what you pay for) & Netgear has never failed me in the...

Drops connection constantly, poor range and slow speeds

Ivy, Amazon
20 July 2015
  • Summary: I have owned this router since 2009 and it started out great, but five years later, I am ready to move on as this has hit its point of decline. I can't believe I have kept it as long as I have as it has always been struggling with the points below. Cons: 1) Poor range.
