Summary: I purchased the NETGEAR Universal N600 Dual Band Wi-Fi to Ethernet Adapter for my Sony Blu-ray player. If you have any device that's needs a Ethernet connection to WiFi I highly recommend this product. It is very simple to set up and its has a small footprint about 3"x3".
Summary: Was a lot easier to set up then I expected... In fact, it was so easy I thought I might have missed something. Way better than powerline ethernet adapters, if you are okay with the ~100-150ft range, but even then, power adapters rarely do well over that distance either.
Excellent replacement for a bluetooth wi-fi adapter
11 October 2014
Summary: This was a replacement for an LG USB wi-fi adapter on my LG TV. Streaming Netflix would frequently re-buffer and it reached the point of rendering Netflix useless. This adapter works perfectly. Setting it up on my wireless router using WPS was a breeze.
Summary: I used this to get my reciever connected to my network so I could use AirPlay instead of buying the manufacturer's @$200 option. The WPS set up did not work and hasn't for other internet ready devices in my house so I don't think that is the Adapter's fault.
Summary: I bought this to enable Internet access on my Denon AVR-X4000. I had 2 other Ethernet bridges that just wouldn't seem to work with my NetGear router. I bought this, wondering if the issue was with the router or the other 2 bridges. This worked flawlessly and the WPS setup is easy and foolproof.
Summary: Had a hard time installing it. Multiple calls to Sony, and to Comcast, and to Netgear finally solved the issues. It now works well. Time will tell however for now we can finally view the movies from Amazon Prime and that is great.
Netgear WNCE3001 IEEE 802.11n (draft) 300 Mbps Wireless Bridge I really like it
21 January 2014
Summary: I have purchased two LinkSys WES610N bridges in the past as well as one they replaced. All three failed after 2 Months. The Netgear WNCE3001 is working well. I believe it is a bit slower about 2 Mbps after testing them both many times but is very reliable it seems at this point. I really like it.
