Summary: Tried to use on a Windows Me computer and it installed, 2000/ XP/ 7 / 8 the same. Even my Apple computer where able to use it. However, even with Wine and the supplied drivers from NetGear's site for linux, still not working. Would really like this to be added as their PPA is not longer supported and the amount of users moving to linux is incraseing rapidly.
Pros: Reliable, Works Backward With Old W
Cons: Limited Compatibility, Not Linux Ubuntu Compat
Summary: Netgear WNA3100 IEEE 802.11n USB - Wi-Fi Adapter is great and easy to install. My HP laptop was not working in wireless from long time despite installing updated wireless adaptors and drivers. So I decided to use the WNA3100 IEEE 802.11n and its working great on my laptop making me feel relaxed.
Summary: Replaced the fios standard adapter with this one. have had no problems with connection error. also purchased a hd webcam for skype and connection is clear and lag free. would recommend to anyone looking for a adapter.
Summary: I recently got broadband internet, but the location of the wireless router was far from my office where I have the world's slowest DSL. I could not connect to the broadband with my Studio 540. So I had an online chat with a nice Dell rep who recommended I get the Netgear 300 Wireless Adapter. The good news is that it is working well so far. My office is nearly 90 feet from the router, but the signal, while not strong, is still good enough and has been reliable so far.
Summary: Purchased from DishNetwork for $25. They sell it to connect my Dish receiver to the Internet. Downloaded latest drivers and had issue with getting the adapter to be seen by the install software. Have had this type of issue in the past with a ASUS wireless card. The problem is that my antivirus software blocks the install. If you have Kaspersky Security Suite installed you will need to uninstall it before you can install this card.
