Summary: The downloaded software (required to run this adapter) is buggy. Even in a strong signal area, the adapter will either fail to see any available networks, or connect and then drop, going blind again. Unable to link up automatically when booting up, so it had to be kicked into gear manually. Very frustrating to try to troubleshoot, and in my case I eventually wound up much better off with the tiny WiFi adapter from Edimax.
Summary: I had to return this product because it did not have the cd to download the software to be able to use the product. It said I could download the software online but I bought the adapter to be able to get on the Internet so to me it seemed very illogical to sell a product to access the Internet, but you have to get on the Internet to install it
Summary: Netgear usb Wifi adapter did not work, it was never recognized by none of the 3 computers I tried it on. Contacted Netgear which was a waste of time. Kept telling to try things. None of which ever worked.
