  • Summary: The only negative about this product is that the "head" that sticks out of the laptop is longer than the picture shows. Other than that it is and performs exactly as expected for a reasonable price.

Easy to Install

CT Manager, Staples
6 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I'm not particularly tech savvy so I appreciate it when an item is easy to install and start using, and this item was. Within a few minutes I had followed the simple installation instructions and had internet access.

  • Excerpt: I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to computers so I was a little intimidated about getting this for my new computer but it came highly recommended by a friend. I am so glad I decided to go this way! Now my desktop computer is connected to the internet wirelessly!!!

Worked as expected

  • Excerpt: Had been using a Belkin 54 G USB adapter and after downloading and installing Windows 10 preview noticed it wasn't giving the speed I thought I should get. Upgraded to this "N" series and am very pleased. The small size means I can keep it in the laptop permanently.

No WiFi? Here's a solution.

Joe Mahnken, Staples
5 February 2015
  • Excerpt: We purchased a refurbished desktop unit and were surprised to see that it did not have WiFi. I suspect this is mandatory in a stand alone or personal computer but NOT in a business application. The NetGear G54/N150 solved the problem providing a USB connection to our home network via WiFi. Super.

I concur - FAIL!

Izaac C., Newegg
2 February 2015
  • Summary: If waiting ten minutes for sites like facebook to load sounds like a good time, or if you are a slowsky like the turtles in the commercial, this is for you. On the upside I learned about and bought vpn service, upgraded to comcast blast service, and bought a new modem. Process of elimination, right?
  • Pros: worked for a few months.
  • Cons: Basically the same thing everyone else is saying..... Using this adapter you'll find yourself wishing you had dial-up. worked fine at first, but now its a joke. barely works. very unstable, most I've ever seen it hit was 2.5 mbps download. this product has been ruining my internet experience.
