Excerpt: With my recent purchase of the Netgear WNDR3700 wireless router, I also moved the router to a more accessible position to our garage. The downside to this was that it degraded my signal strength to our house. Because I figured we had no other options, I decided to invest in a repeater/extender to boost the wireless signal. Because we had a Netgear router, I figured it would be best to purchase Netgear ’s repeater to prevent any incompatibility issues.
Excerpt: Cons: As a Mac user, this product was challenging to set up. It took a few more hoops to access its onboard settings. I would imagine it will set up much easier on a PC. Once up and running it continually loses its connection to the main router. This requires rebooting the device a couple of times per month. Pros: When it is working it does its job beautifully.
Summary: I think that it might work with other companies but it will not work with the ISP CenturyLink. If you have CenturyLink I would recommend calling them and buying THEIR modem/router because it will be their equipment and they will be able to work with you. After two+ hours on the phone with them they tell me this router wont work with their equipment.
Summary: i am happy with the product.we do get wifi now throughout the house.the only thing i dont like is,i payed extra to have it delivered early and i actually got it 3 days late.it was shipped through fed ex and they have a bad delivery service.maybe they need to change on how they send it.other than that.i would refer it to a friend
