Summary: Price was good but was unable to make a connection with the router. Tried switching routers but still couldn't get it to synch. Finally gave up and returned to the store. Instructions were not very good and not sure it works with most routers as they claim it would do.
Summary: Cons: As a Mac user, this product was challenging to set up. It took a few more hoops to access its onboard settings. I would imagine it will set up much easier on a PC. Once up and running it continually loses its connection to the main router.
Summary: Not sure why it does not work, only one of the lights is lit up. Instructions are terrible - mostly pictures and not enough trouble shooting information. We just moved and went from DSL internet service to DISH internet service so need stronger internet for entire house and was hoping this would do...
Summary: It was somewhat mid range diffulty to set up needed wifi laptop wouldn't set up w/android phone. It is convienient to use as long your wfi is strong enough so it can communicate with it. I thought it would match the speed of existing network but it doesn't.
Summary: Lengthy set up through the wireless router then to inital laptop to extender. After 10 days of non-use, had to redo the set up. Once set up it works but if there is a power bump, you must reset with initial connection again.
Summary: Purchased to improve signal at far end of house. Good news is that it went from 1 bar to 4 bars so yes it is currently working fine. I would give it 4 stars but it was a 2 day headache to get it working. Followed all the instructions but the unit would not complete the handshake with the router.
Summary: This unit couldn't have been easier to set up. You simply plug it in, punch a button on the original unit, then get to this unit within a couple of minutes and punch the button on it. The negative issue about this unit having an .ext designation appears bogus to me.
