  • Excerpt: Wireless internet is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity. If you’re paying for internet service, then expecting to have full Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home or business shouldn’t be too much to ask. Unfortunately, unless you shelled out some serious dough for your wireless router, you’ve probably become all too familiar with Wi-Fi dead zones. Netgear agrees that is no way to live.

  • Conclusion: Need to boost your Wi-Fi signal? Netgear's Universal Wi-Fi Extender can help, if you don't mind a few quirks.
  • Pros: Easy setup. Extends range as advertised. Additional Ethernet ports for connecting devices.
  • Cons: Quirky behavior in interface. Factory reset took time to take effect. Could not get back into interface after configuration.
