Summary: Man, these things are getting harder to find every year. If you own a Panasonic tough book that you bought several years ago And want to keep using it then you will end up buying this product eventually. It replaces the cat five connection usually located on the right of the laptop. I say it works better than the original CAT5 connection that came with the laptop. All in all, a good buy.
Summary: I'm planning to upgrade My old 2002 Dell desktop to wireless. I bought the internal card and this matches it so i'm sure it will do the trick, I'm using a newer desktop now but if It breaks down I'll be able to use the Dell to find parts.
Summary: An incredibly affordable and totally functional solution for my needs. My old laptop had a blown ethernet port and rather than fix it I decided to give this product a try. It was truly plug and play and works flawlessly with my legacy XP OS based laptop.
Summary: The internal network interface on Dell Laptop was damaged. Versus fixing it, I ordered this card. Getting it to work under Windows XP was effortless and fast. And in no time I plugged into the network cable and was good to go at great speed. I am extremely satisfied with this product. Performance has been fantastic. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a dongle. I hate those things.
Summary: The internal network interface of my laptop was damaged. Versus fixing it, I ordered this card. Getting it to work under XP SP2 was effortless. You plug in the card and boot up. XP detected the card and fired it up. Once configured, it asked me to reboot. After the boot, the card fired up and showed up like any other NIC. I was able to re-name it to NETGEAR... Performance has been very good too. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a dongle. I hate those things.
