Summary: If you have heavy traffic on the internet in your home, this router is not up to the task.. We have gamers, techies, students and more running all sorts of programs and overall this router actually slowed down our upload and download speeds and the range was not aduquate for a large home. Rated as a N router with good range, I felt it was less than perfect.
Summary: Had a 2200v3 for 16 months with no particular problems. This was a replacement for an older Netgear. The 2200 didn't have the greatest wireless signal but it did the job. Then it suddenly started dropping 30+ times a day so I took back as it was under the 2 year warranty for exchange for another one, this time it was a 2200v4. This was better but if there was a drop it would not reconnect so I took this one back for a refund.
Summary: I purchased this router looking for a quality product and one that would have a strong enough signal to cover the whole house (3 bed semi). The signal was better than the router supplied by my broadband provider but wasn't much better. After 1 year and 3 months the router stopped working completely and I have fortunately kept the old router and have gone back for the moment to using it. Of course it's out of the guarantee by 3 months so I have no recourse.
Summary: Ordered by express delivery (at extra cost) on Thursday arrived Thursday. CD giving installation details would not open on my default internet browser so had to use IE. Now installed and works perfectly but limited range for wireless - can not get it in all rooms.
Summary: Initially the unit worked fine, then after 6 or 8 weeks it stopped working. Ringing the support line produced the necessary results, all was working as expected. Recently we introduced an Ipod and a PS3, (unfortunately after the 90 day free tec-support) only to find we couldn't get a wireless connection. Phoned tec-support to discover we had to pay £90 to fix the problem (albeit for a year's support). Considering a new unit only cost £50 we were not best pleased.
