Summary: I bought this at a store because I needed it quickly, so my purchase is not verified. I have never used a wireless adapter before and was dubious about their potential efficacy in general, but I had to try one because I bought a desktop that I did not realize came without a wireless card.
Summary: my girlfriend and I live in an apartment complex and have to deal with Wireless traffic from all the other 2.4mhz users in the area. We were fighting over bandwidth until I plugged this adaptor in. Now I can game while she watches her shows and neither of us have a problem.

Summary: Irony: late in the troubleshooting process with Belkin's heldesk they asked me to install it on another PC (not a Mac) so I borrowed one and it installed correctly. Never learned why it would not install correctly on my Win7/64 but it was not even possible to uninstall it and start over.
Summary: Not sure if it's a driver issue, and from what others have written there's no way to update the driver anyway. But what I am experiencing is decently fast internet (about 10% speed loss vs. wired connection in the next room) UNTIL it randomly decides to disconnect itself from the network.
