Summary: This Belkin Adapter get's the job done when you have an older model computer system that does not have built in wireless. I own and use two of these adapters and they work great. Plus you save a lot of money buying them from Amazon verses going to Wal-Mart.
Excerpt: I already have a Netgear range extender which does an OK job but I've recently upgraded to a newer Virgin Router with Dual band capabilities so I thought I'd upgrade our extender to make the full use of Dual band. This device was possible to set up, but as soon as it was it wreaked havoc on all of the devices trying to connect to it. Unplugging the thing allowed us to go back online (direct through the router)...
Excerpt: I wish I read review of this product and some of its stable-mates. It was difficult to set up and once it was set up it would only give me a limited signal - enough to connect to the belkin website(?) for some reason, but then it would not recognise my current router, so I wasn't able to connect it to the router and it therefore would not extend my signal. I now see why there was so much money off it - sorry, but I'm now going to take this back.
Excerpt: It couldn't be simpler or more effective. I now have wifi upstairs for my kids smart TVs and it just works brilliantly. No dead spots and I have a 5 bed house. 3 of us watching Netflix on different TVs with no problems.
