Summary: After my laptop's built-in adapter became unreliable, I bought this as a replacement. From what I gathered online, ExpressCard adapters are faster than USB adapters. From what I've seen so far, it doesn't seem much faster or slower than my built-in adapter when it was still new.
Summary: Good Ralink chipset, works well with Vista 32 bit & Ubuntu 13.10, x32-64. These express cards are an excellent workaround for laptops engineered by those manufacturers with a predilection for BLACKLISTING all laptop PCI-e wireless cards except those they've anointed.
Summary: This product has been solid, fast and reliable from day one and it is still working. I use it everyday exclusively and never had any problems. I download movies, music and everything else almost everyday and it keeps on performing without a single complaint. Great product !!
Summary: Much like other reviews I can not achieve any consistent performance. Early on I occasionally could see a rated capacity of 65 mbps. After a week I can not get over 2 mpbs. My router only supports 2.4 ghz for 802.11 draft n spec so I can't provide feedback on 5 ghz performance level.
Summary: The network card in my old PC died. I ordered this and it arrived two days later. Installed the disk, clicked "continue" a few times, it told me to plug the card in, and that's it! Inexpensive, fast, easy install, works just as it should. No issues at all.
