Summary: Almost everyone who's ever tried to get USB wi-fi adapters to work in Linux knows how much of a hassle it can be, and some USB wi-fi adapters are difficult, or even impossible to get working, but almost every version of the F5D7050 work natively in recent versions of Linux. I just bought this product today and plugged it into my Linux computer and bam, it worked instantly, no fuss or muss.
Summary: Works great with Windows 7, took a little work to get the driver installed but after that it works blazing fast every time! Much easier and cheaper to deal with than a pci card adapter. Definitely worth trying this first.
Summary: I am very pleased with this wireless adapter and found it to be just what I needed. I choose this product because my router is also Belkin, and so I thought this might be more compatible than a different brand. It's very easy to physically install. Just insert the CD it comes with, follow a very quick and easy installation process, and then insert the adapter into your USB port when it tells you to. That's all there is to it.
Summary: A # of years ago I used an adapter like this but a different brand, using it on the upstairs when the router was int the basement and it worked real well. I purchased this for a friend of mine who's wireless card on a less than 2 yr old laptop was fried by comcast. I saw this in one of my local Walmart stores and for some reason they wanted $40 for it- not sure why the price difference.
Summary: The Belkin F5D7050 Wireless-G 54Mbps USB Network Adapter is a great products. I was born missing a techno gene. I have had to spend so much money on fixing my computer after I tryed to fix it my self that normally I just don't even try to install anything on my computer. When it arrived in the mail (in less time then it had been promised) I was in desperate need to get my desk up an running again.
