Summary: This card worked flawlessly out of the gate on install. It replaces an onboard NIC for a computer that fried due to lightning. No messing around, put it in and it fired right up. 5 minutes and done!
Summary: Installed the card in an XP desktop. Windows instantly recognized the card at bootup and installed the drivers. I was online within minutes of opening the box. I didn't have to install the included software. In a word: Awesome!!
Summary: The individual who installed stated piece of cake, I do not work on computers so why ease of installation is stated for someone who would mess up the computer, he had to download some software he had to make it connect but process tool about an hout and now Ihave a computer hooked to my DSL!
Summary: I bought this card to install on an older windows 98SE PC. I had purchased a Linksys card for this machine. The linksys card would not install. So after many wasted hours, I returned the Linksys card and bought this Belkin. I had the Belkin up and operational in less than an hour and had no issues during install. The system has been running on our home network for a week with no issues.
Summary: Saw the previous comments so I had the Realtek drivers to hand but they weren't required as I didn't have a single problem installing it on my older Win98se machine. And a bonus - it seems to transfer files faster than the previous 10/100 card that I'd been borrowing from a friend (and thought it was time I returned it!) - a sound purchase at 9 GB pounds, and that was from a High Street retailer!
