Summary: I bought two. After less than a year one became so unstable as to become useless. Manufacturers are not into quality any more. Stay away from this...and possibly Asus in general. A mobo died on me after two years of very light use.
Summary: I have a Cisco Linksys E1000 router, and this network adapter has issues keeping a steady stream of internet. Every other computer, using adapters other than this one, work fine with my router, and this adapter works with my neighbor's Belkin router that isn't secured.
Summary: Signal strength with this card is horrible. I was extremely disappointed in this product. Installation was easy, but after that I found out the card was horrible. I ended up going back to a Linksys USB adapter.
Summary: Pros: Installed on Windows 7 instantly. Just plugged it in, turned the computer on, and it was installed. Good price. Cons: Signal drops frequently. Stock antenna are very bad at picking up signal. If the new antennas I ordered don't solve my problems I'm going to buy a different card.
Summary: PROS: Wireless N Connects Fine CONS: Speeds are slightly lower than previous adapter Not 5Ghz (only affects those with simultaneous dual band routers) Signal is weak Does not work out of the box like similar PCI cards, needs CD installation This network card replaced a Belkin N1 Wireless USB adapter...
Summary: I just recently assembled my own gaming computer. As right now a wired connection is out of the question, I ended up buying a wireless adapter. I'm not looking for something that will work incredible miracles.
Summary: Very unhappy with Amazon.com purchase. I purchased a brand new wifi adapter from Amazon. I received the adapter from Amazon return center. (ouch, should never even accepted that when I saw it). Anyway, I opened the package and find out the adapter is re-sealed and has some fingerprints on there.
Summary: I get a lot of asus products but i do not know what happen to this wifi adapter. The card does not keep a constant connection jumping around from 90% and 30%. I even used ralink and asus drivers to see if this was the problem but it was not.
