Amazon Customer "'Respeto al derecho ajeno es..., Amazon
20 November 2013
Summary: I bought two. After less than a year one became so unstable as to become useless. Manufacturers are not into quality any more. Stay away from this...and possibly Asus in general. A mobo died on me after two years of very light use.
Summary: I just recently assembled my own gaming computer. As right now a wired connection is out of the question, I ended up buying a wireless adapter. I'm not looking for something that will work incredible miracles. I just want a nice wifi adapter that gives me at least a decent connection as my laptop has given me. (-2 stars for:) Unfortunately I'm going to have to look for another adapter as this one is absolutely dreadful.
Summary: Very unhappy with Amazon.com purchase. I purchased a brand new wifi adapter from Amazon. I received the adapter from Amazon return center. (ouch, should never even accepted that when I saw it). Anyway, I opened the package and find out the adapter is re-sealed and has some fingerprints on there. Be aware, refuse the package next time if you see the package is sent from a return center.
Summary: I get a lot of asus products but i do not know what happen to this wifi adapter. The card does not keep a constant connection jumping around from 90% and 30%. I even used ralink and asus drivers to see if this was the problem but it was not. When i download something is jump from 400KB to 150 KB it does not even reach my maximum download speed of 650 KB which my netgear usb adapter could do in a breeze.
Summary: I had high hopes for this cheap little wonder, and have read great reviews all around the Internet. At first I experienced great speeds, with little to no effort in installing this product. Despite this, a small minority of customers (including me) seem to experience lag while the internet is in use at the same time as a media file is playing (such as a mp3 on itunes or a video on a media player, or even a game).
