Excerpt: I use the NMC to monitor the status of utility power from multiple Windows systems. I could monitor the UPS with my Synology NAS but the NMC offers a more direct approach in line with "non-Linux" users. The NMC is reachable from all systems and each can be configured to respond to the current status of utility power/UPS status. All of the desirable information is available to any client of the NMC and you can program each system's individual response.
Pros: Reletively Straightforwar, Simple to install
Summary: It's hard to fall in love with the network management card for a UPS - not a very sexy product. One thing I can say about these, though, is that they work exactly as advertised and last forever.
Summary: Product was what we expected it to be. Received in a reasonable time, delivered without incident. Easy installation, easy config. Works as expected, and we are happy to have it in our system...a good tool for us!
Summary: Works like a charm for what it is. I do not like the flipping of proprietary interfaces since buying a new card with every unit is not good spending practice. Since the unit fails before the card does for me.
Summary: I have this card installed in many locations, some 100s of miles apart. The status notifications have show several sites that over voltage was being received and flagged repairs that were needed. This has more than paid for the purchase and install costs. We are installing these cards at all locations. I recommend you do too.
Excerpt: Work as expected. Just follow the instructions and you will be OK. Plugged into my APC Slot 2 type UPS and set all my systems to shut down on a power outage via the network, that way I can use 2 systems on one UPS without communicating with the UPS it connected to.
Pros: Comprehensive, Easy To Manage, Easy To Set Up, Stable
