Summary: These cameras are handy, you can connect them right to your wireless network. They are easy to set up and come with a decent management software. The cloud service is nice too so you can view them over the inter-webs. On the down side they are a little over priced and I found them to have a poor design and are quite large.
Pros: •Easy set up, •Ability to focus, •Free software included
Cons: •Slightly over priced, •Location of focus wheel, •Large size
Summary: BTW, I can't find a link for warranty service on their website - you can register, you can view it, but no way to request warranty service..
Pros: The camera was easy to install through a web browser.
Cons: Mine has a high audio static. Tried everything before I called their tech support. Got a live person really quick, but nothing is good beyond that... First the tech person couldn't seem to understand the static noise was a problem, then he proceeded to instruct me to SHUT audio through config. Summary: This is my 3rd Trendnet IP camera so I was expecting pretty much the same features as the other ones I have with the addition of cloud view functionnality (which I don't need and disabled). Clearly, they've been cutting corners lately as I was in for a coupe of surprises... Apart from the camera size that is a little bit bigger than it needs to be, the first thing I noticed is the loud "click" the camera makes when switching to night mode.
Pros: -Pretty good quality, -Price when on special, -Cloud view if you need it
Cons: -NO video recording built-in! FTP only (see review for details), -Bigger than previous models, -Makes a loud "click" when switching to night mode
