Summary: Works great and with the higher resolution, there are no lag even when running on a wireless connection. The night time view is a lot clearer than the Linksys that I also have. The only complaint I have is when it is panning or tilting it is quite loud and not very smooth.
Pros: Wireless connection really reliable, Love the quality
Cons: Pan/tilt is pretty loud, The patrol option only does one loop, I was hoping it would be continuous
Excerpt: Our Company purchased two cameras to put into an aircraft hangar. The hangar has high speed Internet and since it is a new hangar we pulled two CAT 5E cables to the locations where we wanted the cameras. The cameras terminate into a fairly inexpensive POE switch as does the Internet feed. The initial camera set-up was very easy. To view the cameras through the Trendnet APP you are required to turn on Port Forwarding on your Internet router.
Excerpt: I bought this camera to set on a window sill inside my house, pointing outside. The idea was to quickly and easily set up a temporary camera to monitor activities outside my house as I was having some problems with the neighbors. I wanted something that would only record when motion was detected to save me the time of having to scan every second of video footage, every day.
Excerpt: I use this camera to monitor my home when I am away. The setup is very easy and I had it connected to my network and running in about a half hour. The web interface is easy to navigate and makes setting preferences quite easy. Image quality is very good and the PTZ works well.
Excerpt: I know it might sound crazy, but in addition to the security features of this camera, it's great to be able to check on pets while you're out of town! The image quality is better than expected - even on an iPhone. It is very easy to setup and use, however, if you have a Mac the supplied disc will not work. Setup will need to be through a web browser. Safari worked fine for me.
Summary: seems expensive but worth every penny. high resolution 1280x800. sharp image. wide angle. automatic day and night works very well. The image can be flipped and mirrored in case you want to mount upside down.
Summary: Purchased a couple of these after seeing them recommended by Andrews Reviews to record to my QNAP NAS box. Picture quality is brilliant (as expected from HD, but surprising non the less) and the management software is user friendly with a load of brilliant scheduling and recording functions. Little bit big but well worth the investment for piece of mind in my home and home office.
Excerpt: Use this in my home - had it for several months now. Included Software VERY versatile for scheduled recording and retention etc. Lots of feature, no problems at all, and excellent support from Trendnet (especially Johnny at level 2 if you need it). Fast response, also works great with "aftermarket" IP Cam Viewer software for my android. Excellent product, no complaints. I have other Trendnet cameras also - very happy with them.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Image Stabilization, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound, Great Zoom
Summary: Picked up a couple of these to replace some older d-link wireless g cameras. Easy to setup using wifi protected setup. The camera has a nice sturdy metal plate for mounting to walls or the ceiling. The image is incredibly crisp and clear and the camera interface is easy to understand. The included software is great for monitoring multiple cameras.
Pros: Ease of setup, sturdy mounting hardware, large crisp clear image and professional multi-camera software.
Excerpt: I use this camera as a monitor for the nursery and nanny camera. The included softare is really nice and easy to use, but it only works with Trendnet cameras. Great low-light images, it is a little noisy.
