Summary: Only issue is the zoom, it is not very useful. The zoom is digital and the native picture resolution is not good enough to support that type of zoom. It's sort of expected for the price so I have no real complaints
i wish it had auto focus, you should buy one that has auto focus

Summary: i use this camera to view my fish tanks while i am out of town, it works well, except the focus has to be done manually, so i don't get as sharp of an image as i would hope, that is the only reason i took a star off, it has been dependable, night vissons cool, the app is not bad, easy to access.
Summary: I did like the product but I think that is not the best for the money. I'm having issues recording with sound, sending audio to the camera and integrating with my Qnap storage. The resolution isn't HD and even connected in Wireless N I don't see a smooth video.
Summary: I have owned several of these cameras for over two years. I can monitor the cameras on my computer at home and on my smartphone away but, I have never been able to understand how to set up the e-mail notification program for motion alerts or to record on my computer on a schedule.
Summary: I don't know what the beef is with the "experienced" app builder. I am a reasonably handy person with no prior experience, and I muddled through. If you want plug and play, I haven't heard of a solution with this functionality in this price range. All cameras in this category have setup issues.
Summary: I have no idea why the only review on this cameras is from an experienced egghead kinda guy and he hates it. I have a fair amount of experience myself not a lot in networking but I do build my own computers and have done so for many years now.
Summary: I have the wireless version of this camera TV-IP422W. To all those who say their video is fuzzy or blurred, the camera has a focus ring around the lens. You can adjust the focus this way. Don't think it's documented. Had the camera for awhile until I found this out. Night vision is ok.
Pros: Good Image quality, night vision. Good mic for sound listening. PTZ.
Cons: PTZ won't return to "home" automatically after a time limit. Camera stays where you leave it "forever" once you are done viewing it. No jpeg mode (nice for some mobile phones that won't support mpeg4 or mjpeg video or 3gp.) It works great on iphone with Live Cams app. Adding external speakers to ...
Summary: I use this camera to watch my driveway. It's easy to setup and has a pretty good left to right pan. I wish it would pan down a little more but the base is kind of big. I replaced some old D-link ip cameras with this camera. The D-link cameras were way easier to focus.
Summary: Bottom line is that if you're looking for a night-vision camera, this one works very well. You might get a dud, and have to return it. Network connection problems are common complaint with these units. But even so, it's worth the hassle. When these units work, you'll love them - esp the nightvision.
Pros: -Nightvision is sensational. Unlike many "low-light" cams, this one actually works in the dark -The search range is good, and it supports ceiling mount -The image is big compared to other cameras -Setup and use (basic functions) is easy -Works fine with WPA-2, AES. MAC filtering -Frame rates are ...
Cons: -Had to return first unit; it was defective; apparently common -Daylight colors are a little off (black looks purple) -Daylight focus is blurry (but offset by superior image size) -Unit has big footprint. However, has good mount kit -Sound quality isn't great: might improve with ext .microphone -...
