Summary: After spending over an hour on the phone with trend net tech support, then about the same with both netgear, then cisco, it became clear the issue was with this camera not misconfigured port forwarding.
Summary: I worked for 3 hours and tried everything in the instructions and anything else I could think of to get the camera to connect wireless with my router but nothing worked. I am very tech knowledgable and this shouldn't be that difficult.
Summary: I am an experienced computer enthusiast. I am an over-clocker and an app builder for android. This camera has the worst software and firmware I have ever seen. It took me two hours of messing with it the three calls to customer service totaling 4 hours. They could not even get it to sync wireless.
Summary: The first camera that arrived did not work. TRENDnet technical support (located in India) went through the most basic of trouble shooting for over an hour before admitting that it was indeed a faulty camera. We'll see if the second one that arrives from Amazon works any better.
Doesn't work with Airport Express & tech support won't support it.

Summary: This camera is not compatible with Airport Express encryption. It's not worth the hassle or trouble. Until Trendnet can figure out a plug n play device for the mac, don't spend the cash. I spoke with Trendnet's India tech support for a few hours.
Summary: I won't recommend that you buy this overrated product. It's just not worth it. I thought some software updates from trendnet would eventually resolve this issue but i guess it wont. I've been waiting for sometime now. Although i hope they do.
Pros: Easy to install. Nice UI.
Cons: The Video quality is bad. The picture is washed off and blurry. The picture in their ad looked amazing but that was a contrary to what this cam has. This company should be sued for false advertising. IF a burgler comes into your house, I'm pretty sure the cops wont be able to use the video as evi...
Summary: Stay away from this one!! You will be disappointed in the product, but not in newegg support.
Pros: Not much....it looked good, I guess. Newegg.com's customer service was excellent
Cons: It didn't work right out of the box! Newegg sent me another one....that didn't work either!! It would never do a camera calibration or hook up to the network. Worked with Trendnet tech support for 2 hours on second unit, they still couldn't get it working.
Summary: After verifying the problem is not a cheap power supply fluxuation, and connecting to every kind of switch we have, various Linksys $30 off the shelf unmanaged 5/8/16 port switches, Dell PowerConnect, Cisco Catalyst switches, and even HP ProCurve Gigabit VoIP POE switches, all with the same result...
Pros: Looks nice.
Cons: Same results as others, looses network connectivity after a few minutes. And that is not a value added feature, and it appears a standard one for this model.
Summary: Impressed with Newegg RMA process. I have 4 other Trendnet cameras (2 x 110, 1 x 110W, 1 x 410) and they all work fine so this problem may be isolated to the 422 design.
Pros: Good size and features for the price (if it works).
Cons: RMA'd the first one because the video did not work at all. The replacement I received (new) would lock-up after being on the network a few minutes; it had to be power cycled to operate again. After discussing the issue with tech support, this camera was sent back to Trendnet for replacement. The ...
Cons: Doesn't work. With FW 0-26 I could view the stream and control the camera for about 5 minutes or so before it locked up. I upgraded to the latest FW 0-40 and the time went down to 1 minute. After awhile it locked up almost immediately after rebooting. Too bad, if it had continued to work like it ...
