Summary: The first camera that arrived did not work. TRENDnet technical support (located in India) went through the most basic of trouble shooting for over an hour before admitting that it was indeed a faulty camera. We'll see if the second one that arrives from Amazon works any better.
Summary: Length:: 0:16 Mins Negatives: I wanted to have a nice video of my pets during the day, however, the picture is poor during day... even worse at night (see night video attached). Horrible zoom, so bad it is absolutely useless. Motion detection provides only pictures, not video. Poor customer support, foreign, blames customers for any problem. Make sure to turn OFF your computers sound as it will cause a squealing sound if left on.
Doesn't work with Airport Express & tech support won't support it.

Summary: This camera is not compatible with Airport Express encryption. It's not worth the hassle or trouble. Until Trendnet can figure out a plug n play device for the mac, don't spend the cash. I spoke with Trendnet's India tech support for a few hours. Then an hour with a tier two specialist in Calif who knew nothing about Apple products. In short, Apple users should pass on this Trendnet product.
Summary: I use this camera to watch my driveway. It's easy to setup and has a pretty good left to right pan. I wish it would pan down a little more but the base is kind of big. I replaced some old D-link ip cameras with this camera. The D-link cameras were way easier to focus. Unfortunately, the D-link cameras were not compatible with IE8. This camera is better in low light.
For a few dollars more, you get wireless with the 422W

Summary: I really can't see buying this when the same camera, plus wireless, is available for--literally--only a few dollars more. Having owned the 422W, I can't honestly understand buying either, but you'll at least get more for your money's worth with the 422W. Here is my take on the 422W, which is the same except with wireless: Where to begin... This thing is a disaster. For the bare minimum of letting you view a live feed of low quality video, it works.
Summary: Trendnet includes instructions for setting up the cam but nothing about interfacing it with your router so you can see it on the Internet. I had to do a search on the Internet to learn about Port Forwarding in order to make it work. Overall a good purchase.
