Summary: Purchased this to be used with a TV-IP110W. It works well and doesn't seem to hinder the antenna at all. I made no attempt to "extend" the antenna to the outside of the housing, and it is mounted outside a second story window with my router in the basement on the opposite side of the house.
Summary: Very sturdy case with strong hardware. Since it has a fan and a heater I thought it had a vent on the back for the fan to cool off the case so the camera doesn't over heat during the summer. This is not the case. There is no vent and the fan only turns on when the heater turns on. Another issue is that the mount should be solid so that noone can cut the wires.
Summary: I expected better than this from Trendnet. The power supply cord had to be spliced when better engineering could have made this unnecessary. My shipment did not contain the IR shelter (a tiny sleeve to go over the camera lens to prevent glare from the IR lights on my TV-IP312W camera). When the IR light is needed, the glare makes the image unusable. I contacted Trendnet to get more info or get the missing part.
Summary: I bought this enclosure for a TrendNet TV-IP110W wireless camera. I was very surprised when I opened the box and saw that the enclosure was much bigger than the camera (Check the dimensions!). I was also concerned that I might need to run an external antenna because the camera would be inside the large metal casing, and I expected wireless reception to be affected.
Summary: The enclosure is absolutely useless for any Trendnet camera with IR. Trendnet says on their own site that their IR cameras shoud not be placed in enclosures. The IR stays on all the time when in an enclosure and the glare caused the image to be useless. It is a great enclosure, just not for Trendnet cameras with IR.
Summary: Gutes Produkt zum angemessenen Preis. TV IP572PI) hineinpassen. Aber ich gehe schon jetzt davon aus.
