Summary: I already had a few of the wired cameras, but I wanted to try one of the wireless cameras. It's easy to set up. Just screw the base in wherever you want, and plug in the electrical adapter. It is a little slower than the wired cameras, but still pretty clear. It's an option that may or may not work for you, but I think it's definitely worth it.
Summary: I really like this camera. I already have a hard wired video camera system so I needed to add one more camera but didn't want to have to wire another wire so this camera did the trick. My DVR box is all the way on the other side of the house but the signal is still strong and now I got an extra camera onto my surveillance system. May want to pick up another one if it wasn't so expensive.
Summary: This camara works well except for at times it losses it's connection and I have to bring the camara close to the receiver. I also could not understand all the connections, not being to suave in that field.
Summary: easy to set up, so long as you can install an electrical outlet within 6' of where you want to put it. nice picture and good range for the price. resolution is not quite good enough to read a license plate but can make out faces well.
Summary: I bought a First Alert 4 camera system with DVR from another store a few weeks ago. The 4 cameras were wired but I needed a wireless camera for our attached garage. First Alert had one but it was kind of expensive so I started looking around and found this model of Lorex. The camera still needs a power source but it is wireless to the receiver, not a big deal for my particular set up.
